Recently, Primel® conducted a ground-breaking clinical trial at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust to evaluate the innovative Primel® Active Hand Shield (PAHS). The trial, conducted over 8 wards, aimed to:
- Compare the immediate effectiveness of PAHS against Alcohol-based Hand Sanitisers (ABHS).
- Evaluate the residual efficacy of PAHS (after 1 hour) vs ABHS (after 15 minutes).
- Measure and compare bacterial transfer to surfaces after the residual periods (PAHS: 1 hour, ABHS: 15 minutes).
